Miniature Signalling Relays

STS Rail have been manufacturing BR930 series relays since the 1960’s and have successfully supplied a wide variety of versions to railway operators throughout the world.

BR930 Range
Originally manufactured as Tyer G4, then as Field & Grant, Zone Controls and STS Signals, now as STS Rail there are over 100 relay designs currently being manufactured meeting the requirements of many railway operators.

STS also has a comprehensive design capability enabling other versions to be developed and manufactured upon request.

Alstom ‘z’ Range
STS Rail are the sole licencee for the comprehensive range of Z-type high reliability signalling relays previously manufactured by GEC, Alstom or General Signals.

Special Designs
In addition to relays, the plug-in format allows the production of modules containing printed circuit boards for specialised applications.

Plug-in Modules
STS can design modules to customer’s requirements or supply empty modules for this purpose.

Repair Service
STS can either manufacture new replacement relays or provide a comprehensive repair service for existing units.
