Maintenance Terminal
The STS Rail Maintenance Terminal and software is used in conjunction with the CONCEPT 32 range of Telephone Concentrator systems to provide the System Maintainer with a diagnostic tool to assist with event logging, fault location, signalling data archive and advisory information.
The Maintenance Terminal is an event logger for use with STS Rails' standard Concentrators and with Networked Systems. This provides the means of displaying and archiving events.
Maintenance Terminal Logs
The Maintenance Terminal logs three categories of event:
• Fault Alarms
• Warnings
• Status Events
All events are time stamped on arrival and stored in order of arrival. The various events are input via 8 or 16 RS232 serial ports, and are displayed in different colours depending on their status. These archived events may be printed or saved to disk or other media.
The Maintenance Terminal provides
• History of all incoming and outgoing calls
• Record of all system faults & warnings
• 21 day archive of all Concentrator data
Hardware
Standard hardware includes a Windows PC, TFT monitor, keyboard, mouse, colour printer and terminal stand.
A UPS Power Supply module is available as an option.
