Polarity Checker Test Box for -50V/0V dc

The Polarity Checker Test Box allows an installation or maintenance engineer to ensure that the –50V and 0V power wiring to a CONCEPT 32 Concentrator keyboard, keypanel or SIU box is correctly wired before connecting the device.

This simple test may prevent damage to expensive circuit boards and prevent delay when installing and commissioning equipment.

LED lamps provide visual confirmation of correct (Green) or reversed (Red) polarity, and identifies the pin numbers on the ‘D’ type socket where power should appear.

The unit is of rugged construction in a die-cast metal box with shrouded LEDs and is powered by the concentrator –50V/0V dc supply. (STS Part No. 6500-1595)
