TY226 AWS Twin Lightweight Receiver

The AWS Twin Lightweight Receiver forms part of the Network Rail Automatic warning System and conforms to Network rail specification GE/RT8035.

The Receiver is designed for mounting on either the vehicle underbody or the bogie.

It is suitable for operation over Standard or Extra Strength Track Magnets. The detector type is selectable.

Connection to the terminal box is made by a quick release bayonet connector attached to a stainless steel braided flexible conduit integral with the receiver.

Conduit entry may be on the end or side.

The conduit length can be varied to suit individual requirements..

Spacers are provided to allow the installation height to be maintained following machining of wheel sets.

A Terminal Box can be provided if required. Manufacturing reference TY227
